Does GHK-Cu actually do anything for hair or is that marketing

I see it everywhere for skin + hair. Skin I sort of buy. Hair seems dubious. Real people with real results or are we just funding the supplement industry?

The topical copper peptide literature on hair is mostly in vitro / follicle biology stuff + some small human studies for scalp health. It's not finasteride. For androgenic hair loss it's adjunct at best. Skin benefits (collagen, pigmentation, wound healing) have more consistent data.

Honest answer: if you want to keep your hair, minoxidil + finasteride (or dutasteride) + microneedling have the real evidence. GHK-Cu is a supporting actor, not the lead. Companies market it aggressively because it's not a controlled compound.

^ this. If someone tells you they "grew their hair back with GHK-Cu only" they're either lying, a unicorn, or also doing other things they're not mentioning.

Ok so short answer, not a miracle, useful for skin, mild adjunct for hair if anything. Got it.

I run GHK topically post-microneedling and subjectively it helps scalp inflammation and recovery. Not claiming regrowth. Just skin health.

Iron, ferritin, and vitamin D pretty much always get overlooked in "hair loss" complaints. Pull labs before you blame genetics.

Also: scalp microneedling + minoxidil alone does more than most people realize. Before adding peptides, nail the basics.

Good call. Booked a lab panel. Will start with the basics before the fancy stuff.

honestly the topical stuff is probably just helping your scalp environment more than regrowing hair. i've used it for like 4 weeks and yeah my scalp felt less inflamed but i wasn't expecting miracles and didnt get any
