Injection site bruising — normal?

Bruised about half my injections so far. Not huge bruises, little purple marks. Is this a technique thing?

Usually means you nicked a capillary on the way in. Common, not dangerous. Rotate sites, go slower, try a different angle. If you take fish oil or aspirin, you'll bruise more.

Fish oil is a big one. Time injections away from your dose if you want to test it.

warming the solution helped me a lot too. cold liquid into tissue = more bruising in my experience.

Yeah bruising is usually just bad luck with a capillary, not a big deal. I had the same thing for like my first month and it stopped once I got better at the angle and speed. The fish oil thing is real though, I noticed a difference when I dropped it for a week. Warming the oil up also helps, just hold the syringe in your hand for a minute before you pin.
