How many days does a Semax washout actually need to be?

Testing how long I need to be off before the acute lift comes back to baseline strength.
After 5 days straight: lift still present but muted. 2-day break: back to full. 4-day break: full + maybe a small rebound. 7+ days: no additional benefit over 4.
Anyone mapped this more rigorously?

Matches my experience almost exactly. 2 days restores most of it, 4 days is the sweet spot.

Would love to see this mapped with a blinded A/B for a week โ inject placebo nasal spray two days, active three, counterbalanced. Even one person doing this well would add more data than the average 'I feel' post.

The receptor-recycling timescales for melanocortin analogues are in the 24-72 hour range in vitro. 2-4 day washouts tracking that makes biological sense.

Weekend-only breaks (2 days) plus the occasional 1-week full washout mid-quarter has been my pattern. Seems to sustain effect without much decay.

I cycle 5 on / 2 off, confirm similar pattern. The 2 off is the minimum effective dose.

Yeah the receptor recycling thing lines up with what I've seen. I ran it pretty hardcore last year, 6 days a week for like 3 months straight, and by week 8 the lift was basically gone even on dose days. Soon as I hit a 4 day break the sensitivity snapped back almost instantly. I'm skeptical you get much beyond that though, the in vitro stuff suggests downregulation peaks around 72 hours so extra time past 4 days is probably just giving your system a reset it doesn't really need. 5 on 2 off seems like the actual sweet spot if you want to run it long term without chasing higher doses.
