Not for weight loss. A1c crept to 5.8, fasting glucose consistently 99-105. Doc ok with trying low-dose tirz off-label.
Stack:
- Tirzepatide 1mg/week
- 8 weeks, retest A1c
Baseline: A1c 5.8, fasting glucose avg 102, weight 180 lb (don't want to lose much).

You'll see the glucose move before the A1c catches up. Keep a finger stick going.

Nice drop but 8 weeks is pretty short to dial in whether this is actually doing work or just normal daily glucose variance. One morning reading of 91 doesn't tell you much when your baseline was bouncing 99-105 anyway. You tracking fasting times consistently? Same time each morning, same sleep, same meal timing? That stuff moves glucose way more than people think and if you changed literally anything else in those couple weeks it's gonna be noise.
