Two years in the peptide rabbit hole today. Feeling reflective. Drop one thing you'd tell 2-years-ago-you if you could.

Mine: I wish I knew that the first 6 months of results aren't the peptide โ€” they're the novelty of finally caring about recovery and sleep and protein. The peptide is maybe 30% of what you felt. Don't anchor your expectations on that window.

That the honeymoon phase fools you into thinking 10 compounds all work. Strip it down and retest.

That most of what I attributed to a compound was actually better sleep hygiene and a coincidentally good training block.

That recovery peptides don't replace rehab. They make rehab more productive. Skipping PT and running TB-500 is a fast road to re-injury.

That lower doses with longer duration nearly always beat higher doses over short windows. Nearly always.

The thing nobody mentions is that most people never actually establish a baseline before starting. Like, did you track sleep quality objectively before peptides? Mood? Strength numbers? Because without that you're basically just remembering how you felt when you were depressed and unmotivated. OP's right that the first 6 months are probably 70% placebo plus actual life improvements, but you can't even tell if the 30% is real if you didn't measure anything going in.
