Sauna + peptide stacks — heat shock proteins and recovery
31 posts
Flip side of the cold thread. Been running 4x/week sauna (180F, 20 min) for about 18 months. Heat shock protein story is intriguing.
Specific question: does sauna interact with BPC-157/TB-500 recovery protocols? HSPs are part of the repair toolbox; does upregulating them via heat help or confound peptide signal?
Also: any sauna + GH peptide people? HGH pulses reportedly bump post-sauna. Does stacking double-dip or is one of them redundant?

Sauna does nudge endogenous GH. Whether that means exogenous GH peptides are redundant is overstated — the pulse magnitude differs and they're on different timescales. Stacking is fine and probably additive.

I run sauna post-lift, TB-500 weekly whenever. Haven't seen any interaction. Recovery is subjectively better than either alone but I can't prove it.

Sauna cardiovascular data is actually pretty good (Finnish cohorts). That's independent of the HSP story and probably the bigger reason to do it.

Been sauna-ing for 20 years. Peptides came later. Sauna is the base layer. Peptides are tinkering on top.

Useful thread for someone building out a recovery routine from scratch.
