Running sema slower than the standard schedule on purpose. I'm not in a hurry, I want to minimize side effects, and I lose weight easily without dropping muscle so the slowest dose is fine.

36F, 5'7", 168 lb, goal 150.

Stack:

  • Semaglutide 0.25mg/week — holding, not titrating
  • 12 weeks

Lifting 3x/week, protein 130g/day.

Week 2: 166.0. Minor nausea days 1-2. Lost half a pound a week is fine by me.

People don't realize 0.25 long-term works. It's the manufacturer who wants you climbing the dose.

Week 4: 164.2. Still 0.25. No side effects. Appetite slightly dulled.

Week 7: 161.6. 6.4 lb off in 7 weeks. Barely feel like I'm on anything.

Slow-dose club strong. This is the way for plenty of people.

Week 12: 156.9. Down 11.1 total. Will hold 0.25 until 150 then cut to 0.125 for maintenance.

12 weeks and no muscle loss signal is the proof. Nice.

Did you measure body comp at baseline and week 12 or just going off scale weight? Because 11 lbs in 12 weeks at that dose is honestly not much different than what someone eating at a deficit would drop naturally, so hard to say if the sema was actually doing the heavy lifting here or if it's just the calorie deficit you're running.
